Trait-d'union tra la musica classica e le sonorità pop, il concerto "PianoPianoForte" propone un viaggio attraverso quindici brani per pianoforte essenziali ed intensi nel genere "New-Classic" - uno stile musicale che ha esponenti rappresentativi in Sakamoto, Nyman e Yanni per l'estero e Einaudi e Allevi per l'Italia.
Dalle atmosfere suggestive e minimaliste di "Elegia" ai brani d'impatto e dalla robusta orchestrazione come "Rosso", l'album "PianoPianoForte" (entrato quest'anno nelle classifiche ufficiali di iTunes) concilia il linguaggio classico e moderno in un mood intenso ed emozionante.

Recensito con il massimo dei voti da autorevoli siti americani - Solo Piano Publications e New Age Report - l'album è realizzato senza case discografiche e produttori, diffuso esclusivamente tramite il web e i social networks.
Per l'alto numero di ascolti, nell'autunno 2008 Giorgio Costantini diventa "Top Artist" nel famoso social network Myspace (che conta 250 milioni di iscritti), salendo al primo posto nelle "Top Myspace charts" inglesi ed italiane ed al quinto posto negli Stati Uniti, totalizzando più di novecentomila brani ascoltati.

Con una nuova versione dell'album, rimasterizzata a New York da Will Quinnel (ingegnere del suono di Amy Winehouse, Rihanna e Nelly Furtado), "PianoPianoForte" viene ripubblicato in Italia nel 2009 e sale al primo posto nella classifica dei singoli venduti su iTunes (con il brano "Elegia") e al settimo posto della classifica "album".
Il brano "Rosso" tratto dall'album viene scelto per le campagne pubblicitarie dalla "Baileys" (la casa produttrice di liquori) e da "Il Sole 24 Ore".

Nella primavera 2009, l'album viene pubblicato su licenza a Taiwan e Giorgio Costantini apre la sua tournée al National Concert Hall di Taipei, il più grande teatro di musica classica e tempio della musica lirica in Taiwan.
Il secondo concerto si è tenuto nella città di Kaohsiung al Chih-Deh Theatre, che dalla sua apertura ha ospitato due soli artisti italiani: Andrea Bocelli e GiorgioCostantini.
